Meredith Salenger

Salenger was born in Malibu. She was a performer for relatives and friends as a young child. The mother of her child took her to her first acting class at the age of eight old. The actress played the role in the film as "a singer and dancer orphan" in John Huston's feature film Annie. Salenger was featured in several TV commercials. Salenger's debut starring role came in the Disney film The Journey of Natty Gann featuring John Cusack and Ray Wise which was the first US movie to win the coveted gold prize during the Moscow Film Festival. In addition, she won "Best Female actor in a drama" in the Youth in Film Awards in the recognition of her character as the sexy Natty. After starring in four more films before she turned 18 such as A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon, she left Hollywood in order to attend Harvard for further studies. Meredith Meredith Meredith
