Lina Maria Aguiar, a Brazilian businesswoman with a $1.5 billion fortune, is the definition of a Brazilian. Lina was born on the 28th of March 1938, and was left outside a Bradesco Bank Branch (one the most important Brazilian banks) by the bank's founder, Amador. He adopted Lina as a little girl and taught her how to become a girl. Aguiar only adopted Emilia Lina's sister two years after. The name was changed to Lia Maria Aguiar. Both daughters are now billionaires thanks to the inheritance that they got from their foster parents. Maria Angela Amador's third child that was adopted by him, has not made it to the billionaire club since she was given a little portion from Bradesco Bank. Amador, himself, had created the Bradesco Foundation to benefit Brazil's education in the year 1956. The majority of his money was given to this foundation. There was a fierce legal fight between his adopted daughters and another wife he had married a couple of months before the time of his death. Lina & Lia Amador have become billionaires when the daughter of Amador's triumphed in the court case.
